Run it quiet.

A suppressor isn’t a luxury — it’s the single best upgrade you can hang on a hunting rifle. We stock the cans we’d run ourselves, handle the paperwork through Silencer Shop, and get you to the range without the runaround.

— What We Do

We don't build cans. We build the case for running one.

Vara Outfitters isn’t a suppressor manufacturer, and we don’t pretend to be. What we are is selective. We carry the brands that have earned their spot in our own safe — and nothing that hasn’t.

Every can we sell moves through Silencer Shop, the most trusted name in NFA processing. That means a clean, fast, fully-tracked path from “I want one” to “it’s in my hands.” No mystery, no middleman headaches, no calling the ATF wondering where your paperwork went.

— Why Suppress

Quiet is an
advantage.

A suppressor does more than keep things quiet. It changes how the rifle behaves, how the hunt feels, and how well you shoot under pressure.

01

Save Your Hearing

One unprotected rifle shot can do permanent damage. A suppressor knocks the report down toward hearing-safe levels — so a follow-up in the field doesn't cost you a frequency range for life.

02

Tame the Recoil

Venting gas through the baffles cuts felt recoil hard. Less kick means less flinch, faster follow-up shots, and a rifle that's genuinely more pleasant to shoot all day.

03

Stay in the Hunt

Hear your guide. Hear the brush. Keep your situational awareness instead of getting your bell rung every time the trigger breaks. Suppressed shooting keeps your head in the field.

04

Don't Spook the County

Less blast means less disturbance — to the animals you're hunting and the neighbors you share a fence line with. Quiet is just good manners on a working ranch.

05

Shoot Better, Faster

Less blast, less flinch, less recoil adds up to tighter groups and more confident shooters — especially the new and young ones you're trying to bring along.

06

It Just Belongs There

Once you've hunted suppressed, a bare muzzle feels like a mistake. It's the upgrade nobody regrets and everybody wishes they'd made sooner.

THE LINEUP

Brands we run ourselves.

We carry a curated stable of the best in the business — not a warehouse of everything. If it’s on our shelf, it earned the spot.

Vara Pro Shop · Silencer Shop Kiosk
— Powered by Silencer Shop

THE KIOSK DOES THE
hard part.

The old way of buying a suppressor meant ink fingerprint cards, passport photos, and a stack of forms that the ATF could bounce for a smudge. We don’t do that here.

Swing by the Vara pro shop and our Silencer Shop kiosk captures your fingerprints and photo digitally in a few minutes. Silencer Shop files your paperwork electronically and tracks it the whole way. You get text updates. We get you to the range.

— How It Works

Five steps to
suppressed.

Buying a suppressor is more paperwork than a rifle and less hassle than people think. Here’s the whole path, start to finish.

01

Pick your can

Browse the Vara lineup on our storefront, hosted by Silencer Shop. Not sure what fits your rifle and your hunting? Call us or come by the shop — matching the right can to the right rifle is half of what we do.

02

Set Up Your Account

Create your Silencer Shop account and decide how you’ll own it — as an individual or through a gun trust. A trust can make it easier to share the suppressor with family and pass it down. We’ll walk you through the difference.

03

Visit the Kiosk

Come into the Vara pro shop. The Silencer Shop kiosk captures your fingerprints and photo digitally in minutes — no ink cards, no trip to a photo counter, no smudged prints getting your application kicked back.

04

We File Your Form 4

Silencer Shop submits your ATF Form 4 and $200 federal tax stamp electronically, then tracks it the whole way through. You’ll get status updates so you always know where things stand.

05

Approved. Take It Home.

When your stamp clears, swing back by the shop, complete the transfer, and walk out with it. Thread it on, confirm zero, and go run it. That’s the whole game.

Note: Suppressors are legal to own in most U.S. states and legal to hunt with in most that allow them — but laws and ATF wait times vary and change. You must be 21 to purchase from a dealer. We’ll confirm current eligibility and timelines for your situation before you commit to anything.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

Your storefront is open.

The full Vara suppressor lineup lives on our Silencer Shop storefront — built, hosted, and processed by the people who do this best. Browse, build your order, and start your paperwork anytime.
